The source file dates this phase of the statehood campaign from 2001 to 2014, led in its final years by K. Chandrashekar Rao. Protests, marches, and political bargaining ended with the division of Andhra Pradesh. Telangana became a state on 2 June 2014. The pin sits just north of the 1946 rebellion pin in Hyderabad so the two markers stay separate.
